New York marathon lottery

After getting rejected in the lottery in 2005, I made it through this year! Of course after paying $165 in entry fees I intend to run it with a camera at an easy pace and soak in the experience.

Congrats. I am running it for my 5th time in a row. There's nothing better (although Boston is pretty incredible in its own way). I like the plan to run it slow and take it all in. There is more to experience in this race than any i ever done. it's a tougher course than people think. all the best

Thanks Jon! I am looking forward to the experience. Getting to run through the 5 boroughs, and over the Verrazano & Brooklyn bridges just seems surreal!

No Brooklyn Bridge. You run the Veranzano, the Pulaski (connect Brooklyn to Queens), the 59th St (takes you into Manhattan, it;s like entering a football stadium of people) and the Willis Avenue Bridge (takes you into the bronx, tough part of the race) and then the Madison Avenue bridge (connects to Harlem)

email me if you have an questions or need anything

Oh. Thanks for letting me know :) I guess I don't have access to your email or blog from your post. Do you have race reports from any of your NYCM runs posted anywhere? I would love to read them!
